If this goes as planned, now will be the time to get into Southwood before the general public gets wind, excitement revitalizes and market prices begin to go back up again. This proposed plan will cover over (approximate figures) 19.48 acres and  consist of  35,000 sf of retail (30,000 sf along Merchants Row and 5,000 sf for a restaurant on the lake).  On top of that they are projecting around 24 residential units over retail, 171 townhomes and 188 new luxury apartments.
